John Wikelius - 08-30-2007
Greetings to all those that I went to school at Piedmont Elementary. My dad took me to Washington Jr. High and Central High. I missed the chance to have permanent friendships. John Wikelius 301 North Rawls Street, Enterprise, Alabama 36330 Pat Burns - 07-14-2006
I've pretty much lost touch with friends and schoolmates in Duluth but I
thought I'd drop a line to let everyone know that Joe Kozlovski, Denfeld 64,
passed away in Sedona, AZ on June 16, 2006. Joe luckily received a host
of experimental anti-AIDS drugs as soon as he was diagnosed with HIV-AIDS in
1985. That bought him more than 20 years of pretty good quality of life.
In the end, it was the powerful medicines that caused his organs to fail.
He spent a day in the hospital on the day he died and he composed the
following message with a little dark humor thrown in:
'Hi. I was trying very hard to come up with a way to get all of my friends
and family to visit us in Sedona, but I may have gone too far. :-)
As you may have guessed I am not writing this email. I am whispering it to
Jennifer Love-Hewitt. She is supposed to pass it on to Ron.
Ron has made arrangements for a celebration for me at the Sedona Creative
Life Center, 333 Schnebly Hill Road, Sedona, AZ on June 24 at 3:00 PM. He
will then have a celebration for our MN family and friends in Minneapolis on
Saturday, August 5, at Evens Nordby Mortuary presided by our good friend Tom
Weber.
So, until we meet again, enjoy the service.
Your friend, the mayor (Joe).'
P.S. From Ron [Joe's Partner]: Joe is not going to be too happy about the
humidity in August, dont ya know!
Thanks much.

I just found your web site today the 7th of April, 2006 and viewed some of the pictures taken at the 40th reunion. I really wish I had been there to see all of you and I sincerely hope there will be a next time. Great seeing everybody again. I didn't know of the reunion, if I had I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
Thanks again,
Terry Kreiling Tracy Lundeen - 02-03-2006

I was saddened to see that Jim Ward passed away. I remember him all the way back to Lincoln Jr. I never saw a frown on him even at his benefit last summer. He was a great guy... he will be missed. Kathy (Horner) Kregness - 09-05-2004
I enjoyed working at the registration table Fri. night! Thank you ALL for being so nice to an underclass gal! You are great! It sure was fun!
Thanks again, Kathy Patrick Burns - 08-03-2004
Looks like you folks had a great time. I'm so sorry I couldn't get to the reunion. I retired early in 1998 and I'm living in southern Arizona but probably not for long. My cat, Romeo, and I plan to move back to the Twin Cities in the next several months. It looks like I'll be playing bagpipes with the Macalester College Pipe Band next year -- pipe band competition is my fanatical hobby -- I've been playing for years and have played in 1999 & 2002 in band competitions in Scotland with a band from Tucson. My latest ethnic adventure has been waiting tables in a large Mexican restaurant near the Mexican border. I should have skipped Herr Reque's German and taken Spanish from Senorita Rich. It's fitting that I sign the guestbook next to Lynn; we still keep in touch, and try to instant message each other at 9 p.m. each evening. We were great note writers in high school, and have continued the practice into 'older' age. Our high school notes consisted of gossip, boys, gossip, etc., now we discuss kids, husbands, books, etc. I've tried to send in the classmate info, but no luck. Anyone have any ideas? Lynn (Larson) Aubert - 03-14-2004
WOW! Forty years! But we all still feel 16, right? Greetings to everyone from Paul Bunyanland (Bemidji) Cousin Ron LeDoux, please contact me! Larry Johnson - 03-08-2004
